Greetings.
My name is Bobby Ann Lee, welcome to my homepage. I am an Associate Professor of Biology at West Kentucky Community & Technical College. The menu at the left will lead you to information that is valuable
to students in my classes (syllabi and assignments), and to anyone interested in biology and environmental issues. The Kentucky Threatened and Endangered Species website was developed by my Introduction to Conservation Biology class in Spring 2002 using information from KY Fish and Wildlife Resources.
Learning Styles Quiz is a website which helps you understand your personal way of learning based on answers to a questionnaire, and gives tips on how to study based on your learning style. Biology Careers and Occupational Outlook will help those of you interested in choosing a career path.
I am a science advisor and volunteer for Watershed Watch which is sponsored by the
Kentucky Division of Water and KY Waterways Alliance. Its mission is to recruit volunteers to sample Kentucky waters to find out the health of our water systems. We currently have about 50 volunteers in the Four Rivers region of western Kentucky, and over 200 across the Commonwealth of Kentucky. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, contact me. I am also on the Citizen's Advisory Board for the Department of Energy in Environmental Remediation. The Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant is an EPA Superfund site for groundwater contamination, and presents a number of future challenges for our community.
I am also on the steering committee for the Association of College and University Biology Educators (ACUBE). A number of other science related sites can be found at Biology Links. Contact me if you have any questions.
